Wine cellar tours & tastings

Those wishing to visit us in our wine cellar at Casa de Vilacetinho can choose between 3 different tasting proposals that we have prepared with rigour and in a personalized way. Besides the variety of wines tasted, you will also be able to try our local traditional corn bread and olives.

All our tours and tastings are made in either Portuguese or English by one of our trained staff.

In our store you will also be able to find all the wines for purchase, in special packages that facilitate transportation.

Vinho Verde Trail

The walking trail is a real refuge to the daily routine. The walk starts at the wine cellar and reception centre (where wines can be tasted, enjoyed and purchased), and skirts the perimeter of the estate offering open views across the Douro valley.

The walking trail has a distance of 2.7km and is graded ‘Easy’ with an estimate time of 45 minutes to complete it. Although most of the trail has only slight slopes, we recommend that stout, sensible shoes are worn. Each visitor will be handed a map of the trail free of charge.

This is the ideal programme to enjoy nature and wine in a unique setting and serene environment.

At Casa de Vilacetinho you can enjoy a wide inviting space to perform all sorts of events. Surrounded by 30 hectares of vineyards, it’s an oasis for those who like to escape the busy life of the city.

For your wedding reception, meetings, promotions and other events, we can provide all that is necessary for a perfect celebration. Our facilities have a fully equipped kitchen and service area with capacity for 500 people, as well as a private car park.

Casa of Vilacetinho adds to all this an excellent team of professionals, dedicated to give the highest quality of service as well as all the conditions needed to deliver an unforgettable party.
